Randall Mark

Randall Mark joined Cook County Hospital in 1989. Since then, for the Hospital and then the Bureau of Health Services, he has been engaged principally in planning, analytical work, and state of Illinois regulatory affairs.

After working on the planning of the new hospital, and preparation of the certificate of need application for the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board, in 1993 and 1994, he helped manage the project on behalf of the Bureau until its completion in 2002.

A native Chicagoan, Mr. Mark’s academic background is in business and economics. He
formerly worked at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business performing
economic research activities.
